Two swords

Years ago, during my studies, I had a strange dream that stayed with me strongly.

It began with a realistic scene in which I was sitting in a room reading a book, but the letters started to bend, and then I saw that this phenomenon spread to part of the room. Book covers had the same effect – waves and bending – while the rest of the room was clear and stable. I looked in the mirror and noticed that signs were appearing on my body, forming vertical lines of text. On the right side of my body black, on the left red. I did not recognize the letters and was frightened by what was happening. When my entire body was covered with the writing, the dream changed.

Now I was in an old forest, walking uphill until I reached a large clearing on a rise right next to a vertical rock face. On this rise, arranged in a large spiral pattern, stood petrified people in various positions. I walked among them and had the feeling that whatever was responsible for this was hiding behind a door visible in the rock, so I walked through it. Inside on the left I noticed a round domed chamber in the center of which was a small platform, and on it stood a large black egg with golden inscriptions – the same as those that had earlier appeared on me. On the right I saw a large entrance to another chamber, but before I went there, a figure with an eye on its forehead came out of it, and behind it stood a huge hulking figure that was something like a golem. The figure with the eye held two swords vertically in its hands – one straight and the other wavy. It told me to choose one of them before it would let me deeper into the caves behind it. But then I turned around, ran to the egg, grabbed it and smashed it, hoping that this would weaken the figure with the swords and cause the petrified people to come alive. The dream ended at that moment.

The figure with the eye on its forehead appeared in my dreams of that period many times, usually accompanied by a very low vibrating sound. It clearly wanted to establish closer contact with me, but since that was a period when I was in a very combative mood in my dreams, I preferred to wrestle with it rather than talk.

What is interesting is that for most of my life I had no idea about occult symbols, and only when in recent years my curiosity led me into those areas did I understand part of the content of this dream.
